Is Hope Deferred Making You Sick?

According to Proverbs 13:12; Hope deferred makes the heart sick, But desire fulfilled is a tree of life. Is there an area where your hope is deferred? Have you been praying, believing, attempting to receive, but are burned out? You are not the only one!
There are a couple of areas in my life where I want to stop believing, and give up.  Then something inside, compels me to keep moving forward. That “something” is the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit inside of you knows what God’s plan is. The Holy Spirit will always compel you towards that plan, even if your emotions are exhausted, and nothing is working out in the natural.

Here are the definitions of Hope, deferred and sick from Proverbs 13:12:

HOPE: (Greek-Echo; Strong’s G2192): To lay hold of a thing, to adhere or cling to.

DEFERRED: (Strong’s H4900): To prolong, to draw out.

SICK: (Strong’s H240) Wounded.

If you have hope deferred, there is a wound in your heart! However, getting in the presence of God can change all of that! Psalm 16:11 says; You will show me the path of life, In Your presence is fullness of joy!  Get before God the Father, in the Name of Jesus, and ask for His Presence to heal you where there is hope deferred in your heart!

I know something is God’s will when I try to give up, and the Holy Spirit inside of me won’t let it go. I know I need to stay the course, even if I no longer want to.

Is there something you know is God’s will, but has not happened and hope deferred is making your heart sick? Did you know you can ask the Holy Spirit to remove hope deferred off of you? To bring hope in a situation?

Read the following scripture below, then pray the following prayer:

This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure and steadfast and one which enters within the veil, where Jesus has entered as a forerunner for us. Hebrews 6:19-20

Heavenly Father, I ask You to forgive me of all my sins and I forgive those who have sinned against me. I lift up to you this situation ___________, and I ask you to remove hope deferred off of my heart now. Please fill me with Your Holy Spirit and give me hope regarding this situation.
