How do I get my miracle?

Is there an area of your life where you feel like God isn’t answering? Maybe you are having a hard time hearing from Him, because of rocks (resentment, bitterness, self pity, etc) in your heart. I had been praying for something I believe God promised me, but wasn’t seeing the fulfillment of it. I was frustrated and asking for answers. I felt like the Lord said to read Mark 4. Which is the parable of the sower taught by Jesus:

“Listen to this! Behold, the sower went out to sow; as he was sowing, some seed fell beside the road, and the birds came and ate it up. Other seed fell on the rocky ground where it did not have much soil; and immediately it sprang up because it had no depth of soil. And after the sun had risen, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away. Other seed fell among the thorns, and the thorns came up and choked it, and it yielded no crop. Other seeds fell into the good soil, and as they grew up and increased, they yielded a crop and produced thirty, sixty, and a hundredfold. Mark 4:3-8

I heard the Lord speak this to my spirit. “Your heart is like the rocky soil and that is why you haven’t had an answer to prayer. But if you ask me to make your heart fallow ground in this area, I will.”
Fallow Ground is a farming term, which means soil that either used to produce or wasn’t producing, is tilled up and made ready for new seed. I asked God to make my heart fallow ground in this particular area. In Mark 4, Jesus said seed is the word of God, they word of God sowed in your heart is what produces fruit.

The sower sows the word. These are the ones who are beside the road where the word is sown; and when they hear, immediately Satan comes and takes away the word which has been sown in them. In a similar way these are the ones on whom seed was sown on the rocky places, who, when they hear the word, immediately receive it with joy; and they have no firm root in themselves, but are only temporary; then, when affliction or persecution arises because of the word, immediately they fall away. And others are the ones on whom seed was sown among the thorns; these are the ones who have heard the word, but the worries of the world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things enter in and choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful. And those are the ones on whom seed was sown on the good soil; and they hear the word and accept it and bear fruit, thirty, sixty, and a hundredfold.” Mark 4:13-20
Then I asked, what do I do next? The Spirit of the Lord said. “Ask me what you want me to do, and the prayer will be a seed planted in the fallow ground.”  I then prayed, asking for what I believe the Lord wanted to do in my life. Then the Lord said to water the ground with the scriptures that he had given me concerning the promise. I read the scriptures out loud watering my seed. Then I asked. What next? The Lord said, “Prepare for Harvest.” I asked how to prepare for this particular harvest, and he gave me a couple of steps that are personal.
Let’s say you are believing God to heal you of a physical ailment. According to God’s word, it is NEVER His will for you to be sick. But, because you are tired of having the ailment, you have become bitter and resentful, blaming God or yourself because of it. This is Jesus was talking about in Mark 4. Your heart has rocks and thorns in it and is not producing fruit in the area of healing.

First, ask the Holy Spirit to reveal to you some scriptures for whatever it is you are believing God for. Then pray asking the Lord to forgive you where you have allowed rocks and thorns in that area of your heart. Next, ask the Lord to make your heart fallow ground in the area that you need a miracle. Ask God directly  for what you want, and pray the scriptures on the subject asking the Holy Spirit to “water” the prayer. After you do this, spend time with the Lord asking him what steps you need to take to get this miracle. If it is a healing, he may give you an instant healing or he may lead you on a path that involves medical intervention or nutritional changes. God has a personal path for everyone, but you must have your heart positioned correctly, to be able to recognize his leading.
